Degenerative disc disease: grades and treatment

One of the most common conditions treated in physical therapy, especially in the back, is degenerative disc pain syndrome. For effective treatment, an accurate differential diagnosis is essential to distinguish this condition from other potential sources of pain.

Traditionally, we have successfully addressed this condition using conventional osteopathic manipulative techniques, combined with dry needling or acupuncture, and also integrating the analysis of possible influences of visceral organs, such as the small and large intestine, on lower back pain.

Currently, we have expanded our therapeutic approach to lower back pain by incorporating new techniques targeting both the visceral system and body cleansing. To this end, we have added a low-intensity electric microcurrent generator with variable frequencies and continuous adjustment to our therapeutic arsenal, allowing for personalized treatment and supporting both research and medical therapy. This device facilitates the optimization of organic function and contributes to the elimination of certain pathogens, promoting balance and overall health for the patient.
