Antonio M. Hernandez Perez founded ECO Physiotherapy in 2006 with the aim of establishing an innovative practice that integrates the best of traditional physiotherapy with the principles and techniques of osteopathic manual therapy. In addition, his approach includes the application of complementary methods from therapeutic disciplines such as acupuncture, dietetics and nutrition, pilates, electromagnetic pulses, etc.
With over 20 years of clinical experience, Antonio bases his practice on the philosophy of approaching the patient as a whole being, beyond specific conditions. His approach focuses on identifying and treating the underlying causes, promoting a full and lasting recovery without forgetting the urgent.
Training
Antonio graduated in physiotherapy at the ULL in 1997 as a physiotherapist. He has experience and interest in outpatient orthopedic physiotherapy and sports rehabilitation.
Graduated as an environmental health technician and certified by the Asklepios Katharina Schroth Klinik Bad-Sobernheim in three-dimensional treatment of scoliosis by the Schroth method. Certified by the University of La Coruña as an expert in joint manipulative physiotherapy. In addition to multiple courses accredited by the illustrious professional association of physiotherapists of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, among some of them: Courses of radiological interpretation, new techniques in shoulder and knee traumatology, Perineo-sphincter reeducation, INN (Intervention in neurorehabilitation), pharmacology of the locomotor system, Body harmony, neurolinguistic programming, natural health and eurythmy.
Career
As a physiotherapist she has developed her work in private and outpatient clinics. Mostly developing his profession in the private sphere within the Centro de Fisioterapia Eco, developing his own multidisciplinary method to treat pathologies of the locomotor system.
